Students can understand fashion illustration thoroughly through The Miami School of Fashion and Design’s Portfolio Experience: Fashion Illustration course, which offers a complete approach that teaches students the valuable college-level skills to master fashion illustration. In this fashion course, we cover fundamental skills, including flat design, shading techniques, male and female body proportions, drawing fabric with color, and creating a professional portfolio.  The course has two levels for those looking to enhance their knowledge in the field. Sustainability is one of our guiding principles at Istituto Marangoni Miami, and we include it in all curriculum aspects. Students gain knowledge of sustainable fashion principles and how to incorporate them into their work through practical projects and discussions. At the culmination of the program, students are required to submit a final fashion design portfolio for college applications showcasing their fashion illustrations and design projects.
