In this first level of The Fashion Business 11-Week Course, students explore the fashion industry by studying its historical background and business structure. They use various market research techniques to comprehend the business and economic fundamentals within the industry, analyzing both large-scale and small-scale business settings to recognize essential factors impacting fashion business operations. Fundamental marketing concepts are presented and used in practical situations, including discussing current topics such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the fashion sector. Furthermore, students investigate the complex connection between fashion and different art forms, gaining a holistic understanding of the industry’s interconnected components.

After finishing the Fashion Business program, students will understand the fashion industry deeply, encompassing the entire process from design to marketing. Situated in the dynamic Design District, our Istituto Marangoni Miami location is housed in a modern seven-floor structure meticulously planned to meet the varied requirements of our students and serve as a stimulating environment for learning and innovation. Our facilities feature specially designed classrooms, an advanced photography studio, a design workshop, and computer labs equipped with leading software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Clo3D for digital design. To join our 11-Week Fashion Business Courses, begin by completing the online application. Following this, you will get an email guiding you through the registration process, including document submission and visa applications for eligible candidates. Our Designated School Official (DSO) will assist international students with visa procedures. Once enrolled, we offer support for accommodation choices, orientation, and necessary details.

CURRICULUM

The 11-Week Fashion Business Level 1 provides a well-rounded understanding of the fashion industry, covering marketing, branding, trend analysis, and business principles. In 2014, Annette and Daniela dedicated their brand to showcasing positive solutions for a more responsible business model within the fashion industry. Steering away from seasonal collections and wholesale, they shifted their focus to vegan, responsible textile innovations and bespoke production, avoiding overproduction and wastage.
