

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Masterclass in Visual Art is a 12-week immersive program designed for students who want to deepen their creative practice and engage with the most current tools and trends shaping today’s visual landscape. Led by multidisciplinary artist and educator Ilaria Bochicchio, this course goes beyond traditional instruction, combining conceptual exploration with advanced technical training in digital design, animation, artificial intelligence, and visual storytelling.
Students will participate in weekly classes, hands-on workshops, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and a collaborative final project. Each session is crafted to bridge artistic intuition with cutting-edge innovation—encouraging students to develop a strong personal voice while learning to work across mediums such as motion graphics, AI-generated visuals, and social media content strategy.
This masterclass offers not only skill-building but also career-building opportunities. Students will interact with guest professionals from industries such as architecture, design, video production, and branding, gaining real-world insights and creative inspiration. The course culminates in the development of an original visual art project that will be presented during a final showcase, offering students a platform to exhibit their work and build their portfolios.

Students will be introduced to the world of motion graphics and digital animation through Adobe After Effects, one of the most powerful tools used in the creative industry. This module covers key concepts such as keyframe animation, text effects, masking, and visual layering, as well as plug-ins that enhance production value. You’ll learn how to create visually compelling animated content, work with timing and transitions, and bring static images to life—skills that are essential for anyone working in multimedia, digital art, or branded content creation. Ai-Driven Design: Cinema Flow & MidJourney
This subject explores how artificial intelligence can be integrated into the creative workflow. Students will experiment with tools like Cinema Flow for video editing and MidJourney for AI-generated imagery. The focus will be on how to use these platforms to assist in content creation, from developing moodboards and generating concept visuals to automating post-production tasks. Students will also analyze how AI influences creativity, and how to balance human input with machine-generated results. Social Media Strategy & AI Tools for Marketing
In this module, students will learn how to create impactful digital campaigns using AI-powered tools designed to streamline marketing efforts. You’ll dive into content planning, social media analytics, automated scheduling, and AI-enhanced copywriting and design tools. The course includes building platform-specific strategies for Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, with a focus on fashion, art, and lifestyle audiences. Real-time feedback will help students refine their tone, visuals, and posting rhythm. Research & Critical Thinking
This module strengthens your ability to think critically and approach art and design projects through an academic and research-based lens. Students will explore methods for conceptual development, sourcing and analyzing references, and organizing visual and written research for presentations or exhibitions. You’ll practice articulating your ideas, identifying relevant trends and topics, and backing up your creative decisions with clear rationale. Final Collaborative Project
To conclude the masterclass, students will conceptualize, develop, and present a final visual art piece or multimedia campaign. The project can be individual or collaborative and will reflect the techniques and approaches learned throughout the course. Students will receive individual mentoring during the development process and will present their work during a final showcase. This capstone project is designed to demonstrate your technical abilities, creative direction, and conceptual thinking—serving as a strong addition to your professional portfolio. MEET YOUR PROFESSOR
Ilaria Bochicchio, also known as Ilaz, is an accomplished visual artist, curator, and creative director with over a decade of international experience. Her work has been showcased in New York, Milan, London, Berlin, and Paris, including collaborations with notable figures such as Natvar Bhavsar and institutions like Opera Gallery and Art&Landscape Foundation. Ilaria brings her passion for contemporary art, site-specific projects, and cross-disciplinary storytelling into every classroom experience.
