Join The Miami School of Fashion & Design on Thursday, July 11 from 5:30-9:00pm for our Marangoni Sneaker Studio in partnership with ABFC.
Learn how to customize your sneakers in an Istituto Marangoni Miami student-led workshop sponsored by Puma. A qualified instructor, along with trained assistants, will guide participants in the process of preparing the material and learning different sneaker intervention techniques. After the workshop, enjoy an insightful talk by Andrew the Maker, followed by a networking session at the Marangoni terrace.
*All materials, take-home supplies, and a pair of white leather sneakers in the participant’s size will be provided.

Sneaker Intervention Workshop
- 6th floor Atelier: Discover how to personalize your new Puma sneakers in a student-led workshop at Istituto Marangoni Miami. A skilled instructor, supported by trained assistants, will lead participants through the steps of preparing materials and mastering various sneaker customization techniques.
7:15 PM – 8:00 PM
Talk with Andrew the Maker, Moderated by ABFC’s Aleja Sanchez
- 4th floor open classroom space: Join ABFC leader and athlete Aleja Sanchez as she interviews content creator and upcycling master, Andrew the Maker.
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Networking at the Terrace
- 5th-floor terrace: Step out of your comfort zone, meet new people, have a little fun. Enjoy snacks and refreshments at Istituto Marangoni Miami’s Edicola terrace while you network.
